Sigenergy solar and battery systems

Designed and installed by Steven Hord, Master Electrician, across the Gold Coast, Northern Rivers and South East Queensland.

One Sigenergy system runs your panels, your battery, your backup and your EV charging, and you see all of it in one app. Every battery we install is a Sigenergy system.

One system, not a box of parts

Every part is made by Sigenergy to work together: one system, one app, and nothing from different makers to get talking to each other.

A Sigenergy energy controller on a wall

Energy controller

The heart of the system. It runs the panels, the battery and the backup together. Single phase, or three phase from 5 to 30 kW.

SigenStor battery modules

Battery modules

SigenStor modules stack under the controller, one to six of them. A BAT 10.0 holds 9 kWh usable. Start with what you need and add modules later; new ones work alongside the old.

Whole-home backup

With the Sigen Energy Gateway the whole house keeps running in a blackout, not just a backup circuit.

An electric car charging from a Sigenergy DC charger

EV DC charging

Sigenergy's DC charger fills your car straight from the panels and the battery. At Loganholme it charges at 25 kW while drawing nothing from the grid.

The Sigen app on a phone

The Sigen app

See what your panels make, what the battery holds and what the house uses, as it happens, and choose how the battery works for you.

Why Sigenergy

  • Grows with youStart with one battery module and add more later, up to six under each controller.
  • Backs up the whole houseWith the Sigen Energy Gateway. On single phase it backs up at full rated power, and 150% for ten seconds to start big appliances.
  • Takes more panelsUp to twice its own size in panels on single phase, and 1.6 times on three phase.
  • EfficientUp to 98% on single phase and 98.4% on three phase, so less of your solar is lost on the way.
  • Built for outsideIP66 weatherproof and working from -20 to 55 °C, so it can live on an outside wall.
  • 10-year warrantyOn the controller and the battery modules. The system needs to stay online: a battery offline for more than a year drops to five years.

The battery rebate

The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes money off the price of your battery when it is installed. Pick a size to see roughly how much, at today's rate.

What the battery rebate takes off

About $5,698 off

Under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program at today's rate, taken off the price of your battery, not paid back later. The rate steps down on 1 January 2027, when the same battery gets about $4,774. Your quote has the exact figure.

Sigenergy questions

Can I add more battery later?

Yes. Battery modules stack under the controller, up to six, and new modules can be added to the ones you already have.

Will it keep my power on in a blackout?

With the Sigen Energy Gateway the whole house stays on. We work out at the quote what you want to keep running.

Can I keep my existing solar panels?

Often, yes. At Molendinar we added a 32 kWh Sigenergy battery and kept the 10.45 kW of panels already on the roof.

What does the rebate take off?

It depends on the battery's usable size and the date it is installed; the estimate above works it out for today. The rate steps down every six months, and your quote has the exact figure.

How long does an install take?

Our Currumbin Waters install, 22.4 kW of panels and a 48 kWh battery, took two days on site. We give you the timing for your home with the quote.

What warranty do I get?

Ten years on the Sigenergy controller and battery modules, as long as the system stays connected to the internet.
